Elmcroft of Ontario Elmcroft of Ontario is located in the growing suburb of Mansfield, Ohio, where a wide plethora of restaurants and shopping, including the Richland Mall, is just around the corner. The community is situated near the western slopes of the Appalachian Foothills that form a pleasant, green valley offering excellent recreational opportunities through its many spring-fed lakes, wooded areas and rugged hills. The Carrousel District is home to the first hand-carved wooden carrousel built in the United States in 1932, as well as over 20 restored circa 1800 Victorian Italianate commercial buildings. Other attractions include the Johnny Appleseed Outdoor Historical Drama, Kingwood Center, Malabar Farm State Park, the Living Bible Museum, Renaissance Theatre and Mansfield Motorsports Speedway. Accommodations and Services Elmcroft of Ontario is a Mansfield assisted living community offering accommodations for those who may require assistance in their daily living happenings. It is staffed 24 hours a day with trained healthcare personnel and offers as much or as little care as a resident may want or need. In addition, Elmcroft of Ontario has a licensed Health Care Director on call 24 hours a day. Elmcroft of Ontario features a full sprinkler system and each apartment is equipped with an emergency call system that may be used whenever the require arises. In addition, all exterior doors may be locked so that a secure environment can be maintained. Each apartment includes all meals and basic utilities as part of the monthly fee. Also, members enjoy daily happenings, private dining room for family and guests, library and sitting areas, Internet bistro and activity room, housekeeping offerings and many other amenities. Other services include a beauty/barber shop for a nominal fee. The emphasis on activities is a main thrust of the service services. Social interaction is a vital part of overall good health and Elmcroft of Ontario is committed to offering residents a full range of social, recreational and spiritual happenings from which to choose.
